The Prosecco and Wine Route through the Conegliano Valdobbiadene Hills is a well-known and renowned route to let you experience unique emotions, such as the great wines produced in this area. Built in 2003, the road is the direct replacement of the 1966 original, the first Italian oenological route. Many traits of the historical route, have been maintained but new thematic routes have been added which can enhance the entire territory, its various landscapes and many attractions, including historical and artistic, which are located along the hills between Conegliano and Valdobbiadene. In this way, the new route caters for the demands of the modern hungry eno-tourist with not only great wines and typical products, but also landscapes, environmental and cultural features that form the soul and the deep source of the territory. Thus, with its 120 km long route that climbs along the hills from Conegliano to Valdobbiadene, the Prosecco Route guides the visitor among uninterrupted vineyards, villages and towns where you can breathe in the scent of the centuries-old enoic art of this territory, offering views and landscapes with authentic beauty and great charm, along with medieval and hermitage remnants and ancient churches. Not to mention the opportunity to meet in the many bars scattered along the route, the cuisine and the artisanal products.
